Snowy Kyoto (Part 3 : Kyusho-in & Ryosoku-in temples)

After Kodai-ji and Entoku-in, I decided to finish my photowalk in Kyusho-in and Ryosoku-in, which are both sub-temples of Kennin-ji, the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto. Sometimes I go to Kennin-ji for zazen sessions.

Unlike Ryosoku-in which can be visited any time, Kyusho-in is usually closed to public. I was glad to be able to have a look inside during a special winter opening.

Ryosoku-in is one of my favourite temples in Kyoto. I like that the temple is taking part in different cultural events, such as Kyotographie, and holds art & design exhibitions.

The garden not only can be admired from the inside of the temple, but also strolled around, which allows to see it from different angles.
