Kyoto Antique & Vintage Market 2017
I'm so glad I could pay a visit to the Kyoto Antique & Vintage Market which was held annually at the Former Rissei Elementary School, historical building I like a lot. Unfortunately, very soon the venue will be transformed into some hotel, so the market will have to look for another location from next year. It just breaks my heart how historical old buildings steadily disappear in Kyoto to give place to more hotels and parking lots..
Retro atmosphere of the school building is perfect for displaying vintage stuff, it seems it just belongs here.
I felt deliciously nostalgic about this place. Maybe it's an old schools' thing..
