Autumn garden of Sennyu-ji temple

A few days ago, I went to check the garden of Gozasho building in Sennyu-ji temple, which is situated in the south-eastern part of Kyoto, just near Tofuku-ji. Tofuku-ji is one of my favourite temples in Kyoto, but now it's quite crowded..

Following the advice of my friend Jeffrey Friedl, I bought a polarizing filter for my photo camera. It really makes the difference! The autumn foliage colours are much brighter with it.

If you come in the afternoon, you may be lucky enough to enjoy a view marvellously clear from other visitors.
